Pottery
I discovered ceramics a few years ago through classes at the Oglebay Institute’s Stifel Fine Arts Center in Wheeling, West Virginia—and it quickly became an obsession.
I handbuild most of my forms and enjoy creating richly textured surfaces, layering painterly detail, and working with sgraffito, a technique that reveals contrast through scratching and carving through the slip-painted surface.
My forms are often playful—petals, patterns, and whiskers all make regular appearances.
Each piece is a small celebration of character, curiosity, and craft.
